Finally, the Overwatch League is underway with the first exhibition match which has left us begging for a year. The opening match was between Florida Mayhem and San Francisco Shock after the Philadelphia Fusion unfortunately could not make the event due to “player logistics” issues. We safely assumed visa issues were at play, but the opening match delivered, which is what we wanted anyway.

Dying Light was a fantasic game – demonstrating that if given the right budget, Techland could turn its ideas for Dead Island into something genuinely worth playing. Since its release, Techland has continued to support the game with content, including a weel-received expansion, called The Following. Now the game is set to receive a standalone multiplayer expansion that blends together PvE and PvP elements. It’s called Bad Blood, and you can sign up to participate in the global test.

Blitz Esports is a news, interviews and analysis site where those who follow four of the biggest esports can get their daily media fix. It was originally a site for the team Instant Esports, before it became a news portal for information on competitive League of Legends, Dota 2, CS:GO and Overwatch. It very recently became embroiled in a bit of controversy when noted esports journalist and analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields revealed that the site was funded by Riot games, the makers of League of Legends.

While Artificial Intelligence is fascinating, incredible and all sorts of other shiny superlatives, it is also terrifying. If you’ll recall, Google’s DeepMind created an AI that bested the world’s best Go players. It’s an incredibly complex Chinese board game that takes years to master. The AI learned how to play it in just 8 hours. Now, a descendent of that AI, called AlphaZero - has beaten the world’s top chess program, Stockfish.
