New Line is looking to revive a comedy classic with one of the world's most famous comedians. Can it be enough to resurrect his film career though?

With Danny Boyle's recent exit as director of the upcoming 25th James Bond film, we got lots of reported shortlists of potential candidates. They were all wrong though, Bond producers have made the surprising revelation critically acclaimed True Detective season 1 director Cary Fukunaga will be helming the new film.

Alongside yesterday's news of new MCU-based TV series being developed for Disney Play, comes the news that Wonder Woman screenwriter and prolific TV writer/producer Allan Heinberg will develop a new all-female Marvel superhero TV series for ABC.

The Haunting of Hill House is a modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s legendary novel of the same name, about five siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in America. Now adults, they’re reunited by the suicide of their youngest sister, which forces them to finally confront the ghosts of their own pasts… some which lurk in their minds... and some which may really be lurking in the shadows of the iconic Hill House.

Prospect is the upcoming sci-fi survival thriller starring Sophie Thatcher, Pedro Pascal, and Jay Duplass. A teenage girl and her father travel to a remote alien moon, aiming to strike it rich after securing a contract to harvest a large deposit of the elusive gems hidden in the depths of the moon's toxic forest. But there are others roving the wilderness and the job quickly devolves into a fight to survive.

If being almost a carbon copy of other horror films was not already a problem for The Basement, it happens to be rather dull and boring too.

If you were looking for something from Netflix to help determine what their new series, Maniac, is all about - this new trailer is not going to help you.
