It's a satirical, surreal mockumentary about an aging movie director who returns to Hollywood after years abroad determined to make his mark on a rapidly changing industry.

The First Purge is entertaining enough to keep fans of the series interested but unlikely to appeal to newcomers to the franchise. As a thought-provoking horror movie, it falls flat, but as an action comedy, it certainly does enough. Unintentional or not.

Of the many faults found in the first season of Marvel's Iron Fist, easily the most egregious was how sloppy the fighting was - for a character that is supposed to be one of the best martial artists ever, this was unacceptable.
