Friday Debate: The PS4 is too dominant
The PlayStation 4 has sold so well, it's definitely this generation's winning console in the console wars. But is it TOO dominant?

With entire armies of uber-soldates and gigantic cybernetic attack dogs at their disposal, the world was no match for a super-powered arms race that only Germany had the keys to. America conquered and its icons remodelled into German propaganda, things are not looking good for the return of BJ Blazkowicz as he returns to his homeland to continue the fight once again.
House Party, a game about getting wasted and trying to have digital girls to have sex with you has been yanked from Steam. The game proved controversial, with claims that it was misogynistic and vulgur.
Good news then fellas, because your chance is coming up. Bungie’s weekly update blog post confirmed that Destiny 2 will hit the beta scene on your chosen platform on August 28 for Early Access and then August 29 for everyone else. It’ll end on August 31, with Bungie recommending that your PC have a light level of this much to enjoy it without limits.
BlizzCon will mark the beginning of the Overwatch League, and teams can begin signing players on August 1st.
If I could get my hands on some iconic WWE merchandise, I’d gladly settle for Mick Foley’s missing ear or The Rock’s cookbook. That…probably won’t happen. What will happen alternatively though, is that I’d drop some cash on the WWE 2K18 collector’s edition quicker than that time I bought a month’s worth of New Day-endorsed Booty-Os. This is what it apparently looks like, but I can’t see anything.
Miitopia is a quirky and entertaining RPG-lite in very short bursts, but unfortunately the game doesn’t have all that much to offer outside of a few goofs. The lack of substantial player involvement leaves it feeling too automated and the experience grows stale, fast.
The roguelike elements didn’t quite work out for me, but I’m sure it’ll find its audience. Though I learned not to hate them, I would have preferred the game stuck closer to tradition. It becomes a good game, but until you really become acquainted with how it works, it can be a frustrating and monotonous slog.
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
