When Read Dead Redemption 2 was released in October of 2018, there was a bunch of Red Dead Online content that was exclusive to PlayStation 4 owners, thanks to a deal between Sony and Rockstar. Now, what seems like an eternity later, that content is available to the rest of the video-game playing population on Xbox One, PC and Stadia.

The Xbox Series X is coming out later this year. We’ve seen a few target renders (including a fake one used by AMD) and later, a diagram showing the rear ports of the machine. Now, some leaked images of the Xbox Series X prototype – likely used for software development – have leaked all over social media (via NeoGAF).

The publisher has announced that mid-way through every month of 2020 there will be a new announcement for Sonic the Hedgehog and his gang of pals. Control is one of my favourite games from last year. Remedy’s twisty, brain-melting SCP-inspired action game was an absolute blast, and I honestly can’t wait for more from the universe established in the game. Here’s what I said in my review:

Godfall, from developer Counterplay Games and publisher by Gearbox Publishing is one of the first games to be confirmed for release on the PlayStation 5. Revealed at the Game Awards in December, the game is a fantasy game that takes its combat cues from games like Monster Hunter.

With one of the most addictive turn-based battle systems you’ll find today in a JRPG, Tokyo Mirage Sessions was a blast to play. It’s just unfortunate that the story and characters were about as bland as flavourless rice cakes.

Earlier this week, I spotted a handful of PlayStation 5 rumour sourced from 4Chan, the infamous anonymous board. I didn’t pay them too much attention because well, they’re rumours from 4Chan – and in the run up to a new generation, anything that can’t be verified is probably nonsense. It may have been worth diving into a little. While it may still be a load of hogwash, there’s at least one bit of the supposed “leak” that’s on the money.
