2011 is looking like a really strong year for not only gaming in general, but specifically the Playstation 3. This is of course, all thanks to its marvelous list of exclusives that include titles like Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Uncharted 3 and more. Today also happens to see the release of Mass Effect 2 for the Playstation 3, a title …
When the Wii was released we were inundated with pictures and video’s of wii-injuries where people had put their remotes through TV’s, tables, spouses and whatever else couldn’t get out of the way quick enough. I expected the same barrage when the Kinect was released but while there were a few it never really became an Internet meme. However if …
You didn’t think the issue between EA and Activision over Infinity Ward had gone away did you? The court case is currently being prepared and one of the pieces of evidence from Activision’s side is an email apparently sent from EA Games executive, Lincoln Hershberger. Last Updated: January 21, 2011
The LA Times have reported that Activision has put together a collaborative effort by Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software and (what’s left of) Infinity Ward to deliver Modern Warfare 3 by the end of this year. Aww, they sound so cute; somebody turn that into a plushie. Anyway! Tuesday’s ION had a link to a fan-made StarCraft II MOD which turned the RTS …
Dead or Alive was probably my favourite game on the original Xbox and not for the reasons most people instantly presume. I used to love being able to play co-op tag team matches with the wife, something they inexplicitly removed from DOA 4. Now I know that the Dead or Alive Dimensions title on the 3DS isn’t going to include …
The following video gives us a glimpse of a screenshot paint-over which becomes a piece of concept art for Skyrim. The piece of art is of a cave troll, which looks a heck of a lot meaner than they did in Oblivion. Ordinarily, concept art is developed before the game gets coded and the art assets created. What Bethesda does …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
