The first DLC is called “Total Payback” and it includes a cheat that unlocks all the weapons, vehicles and air strikes, another one for infinite health and ammo as well as cross-region co-op, allowing you to play the game with people from all over …

Another shot to the groin for Guitar Hero fans in the ongoing DLC battle has just been announced. MTV and Harmonix have signed an exclusive collection of live AC/DC tracks for Rock Band. There’s 18 tracks to be exact, due for early December and totaling around 99 minutes of gameplay for each instrument. The only problem is the hefty asking …

John Davidson has reported on whattheyplay.com that he has heard from multiple sources in the game development and publishing community that Nintendo is currently showing early presentations of its next home console hardware. The Force Unleashed DLC on the way

By Nick De Bruyne

LucasArts have revealed that they will be releasing DLC for The Force Unleashed this Fall (Our Spring). The content will be arriving in two parts. The first part will have new character models as well as additional costumes that will be available to use in the single player campaign. These new playable characters will include Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as Ki-Adi-Mundi (the conehead Jedi) and Kit Fisto (the Jedi with tentacles thingies for hair). The next set of DLC will actually be adding a new mission for the single player campaign. This mission will take place in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant (the same one from the movies). Why is he going to the temple you may ask?

"Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice turns to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father, and while searching through the rubble of the destroyed building he must confront his inner demons." Ever since I was left with the bitter taste of disappointment from the Mass Effect DLC, I am skeptical about additional mission for single player campaigns. If however, the price is right then it may be worth a look considering that I found the game to be a heap of fun. If the extra mission only adds an hour of gameplay though, then it had better be really cheap or it may just be a waste of everyones time. How about one or two more force powers? The PSP version actually has a few nifty powers that the next-gen versions didn't have, so that would be a cool addition. We will surely get more information on the DLC soon, so watch this space.

God of War Movie Confirmed

By Nick De Bruyne

godofwarmovie.jpg It looks like Kratos will be making his way to the silver-screen after all. There were rumours of a God of War movie doing the rounds a while back but with no backing. Well, it is now official that the God of War movie is definitely going to be made and will be helmed by none other than Brett Ratner. With movies like X-Men 3 and Rush Hour 3, I don't know whether to be excited or just plain skeptical. You can check out the interview with Ratner by clicking the link at the bottom of the article. MovieBlog reports the following: "We caught up with him recently and confirmed either your greatest dream or biggest fear: Brett Ratner is indeed making a movie based on the video game series, God of War." Is this movie going to be any good? Who knows? What I do know is that I may just be tempted to revive my Casting Call feature one more time. What do you guys think?

Gamesradar has put together a very nice feature on what it rates to be the top 15 video game stories ever… There are some obvious ones like Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto along with some lesser known jewels like Planescape: Tournament? I have always preferred the simpler stories to be honest so I am glad to see Portal …
