Akane always ends in violence, bloodshed and the death of the titular hero. With the tools to create their own retro classics, the only thing missing was a proper story mode. Super Mario Maker 2 aims to fix that.

Fortunately, humanity was clever enough to bury high tech time capsules all over the land, stuffing them to the gills with experimental technology that were just waiting to be unlocked and used by a lone soldier looking to overthrow an oppressive regime.
