Assassin’s Creed Odyssey patch adds free story mission

By Geoffrey Tim

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an already sprawling, enormous game, with dozens and dozens of hours of mostly worthwhile, meaningful content for your misthios to hack, slash and stab through. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t do with a little more though. Of course, there’s a lot more content coming as part of the game’s season pass, but in the meantime, Ubisoft has added a whole new quest. For free.

The beta for Red Dead Online kicks off later this month, but Rockstar has kept quiet as to what players can expect within that mode. New leaks and data-mining (For the love of Clint Eastwood Rockstar, please don’t sue us) paints a picture of an online mode that’s not too dissimilar to GTA Online’s primary focus of owning fast cars and property.

I’m not in a rush to jump down that cash-hungry rabbit hole of collecting again, but it’ hard to deny just how well-designed and crafted each individual Amiibo is. I’m thinking of breaking that oath to refrain from Nintendo’s collectible clutches, as next week’s Diablo 3: Eternal Collection on the Switch has revealed a new addition to the merch library: An adorable Loot Goblin.

DICE reveals Battlefield V final PC specs and launch maps

Battlefield V is out later this month, and should be one of the first of a handful of games to support Nvidia’s brand new ray-tracing capable video cards. Of course, you’d need to actually one of those cards, which have yet to really prove their worth. Of course, that sort of hardware isn’t necessary, and the required PC specs range from lowly hardware right up to the sort of stuff that PC dreams are made of. While EA and DICE released specs for the beta, they’ve been a little quiet on the sort of horsepower required for the retail release of the game. NOT ANYMORE!

British website forks out £1 million over Red Dead Redemption 2 leak

By Darryn Bonthuys

Leaks rarely lead to major court cases. Blacklisting is usually the worst thing that can happen to a website as it finds itself shut out by a publisher, but the idea of being slapped with a hefty bill? Unheard of, until yesterday when website Trusted Reviews and their parent company TI Media forked out £1 million to charity after they published confidential information regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 back in February from a leaked internal document from Rockstar Games.

It’s the end of the world, and everything is looking very…Disney? After the bombs have fallen, humanity has been sent hurtling back to square one and the planet happens to be infested with homicidal maniacs, chances are that you might not want to venture outside for long. In Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, that’s a job that better left to a new breed of scavenger.
