Here’s the fun thing about Con.Nect: The event has grown over the last couple of years, but it’s still an intimate gathering of familiar faces and dedicated fans. What I like about Con.Nect when it comes to cosplay, is that it’s typical of the PE attitude: Pretty much anything goes!

ICON Durban 2018, South Africa’s major East Coast gaming and geek lifestyle convention, took place last weekend, 27 to 29 July. Here’s how the event fared in its fourth, bigger-than-ever year.

While anyone can chew on a piece of unrefined uranium to really get the authentic sickly look of a Fallout ghoul, translating the power armour of the infamous Brotherhood of Steel is easier said than done. Properly scaled, it’s big enough to dwarf Braun Strowman and bulky enough to punch a freight train into submission. It would be near impossible to fabricate a suit, right?

Who says lazy people can't run a 10km? Anyone can build up to become a better runner and nothing is a test of your new found running skills than tackling your first race.

What say you? Which chicken wing is superior? Zinger Wings? Their gross dunked variant? Hot Wings? Or are you like some other people in the office who think that chicken wings are a waste to begin with; little bits of oily chicken scraps that aren’t even worth bothering with?
