After the damp box office performance of the last Pirates of the Caribbean film, Disney is reportedly looking to relaunch the franchise with Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. However, it would appear that Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow, the series' most notable star and lead character, won't be included in this reboot.
