As we edge ever closer to the next generation of consoles, we’re going to start being inundated by rumours. Some of them will be vague, some of them will be thoroughly detailed, some will be veracious, while others will be ruses, designed to trick the internet at large for shits and giggles. Recent Assassin’s Creed rumours are that sort of ploy.

If you’re looking for a proper challenge in Borderlands 3, there’s no shortage of activities which you can dip into at any given time. Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode is perfect for anyone who reckons that using a rewind feature in the Nintendo Switch SNES catalogue rules you out from having ever completed a game as Odin intended, while the Mayhem …

This impending new console generation’s going to be…different. For starters, both Sony and Microsoft are taking a few more cues from PCs in how games will work. We know that PlayStation (at the very least) and Xbox One (and all previous Xbox generation) games will work on the new consoles, allowing players to bring their existing libraries into the new generation.

There are still those who are willing to get up at the crack of dusk and boot up their console to find him for you. People who’ll risk digital life and limb to let you know if Xur is selling a treasure or rubbish. I just so happen to be one of those people. Maybe you’re stuck at work and can only log in later tonight. In that case: Where is Xur?

Thermaltake’s new gaming chair is a little less gaudy, still pretty pricy

By Geoffrey Tim

in :  Gaming

I really do not like gaming chairs very much. Open any game stream and you can see somebody sitting in one of what seems a billion almost identical pleather-decked thrones with colourful trim. They’re meant to be orthopaedic, ergonomic things for your arse to rest in, with strap-on pillows for lumbar support and adjustable arm rests - and sometimes even RGB lighting.
