Rumours have persisted that Modern Warfare will soon see its own Battle Royale. Data miners have already found evidence that, at the very least, the bones of a Battle Royale exist within Modern Warfare. Last week saw a proper remaster port of Vanquish slip through Microsoft’s fingers, but this week? It’s official. Here’s the kicker: Sam Gideon won’t be alone in his return to flatscreens, as a certain leggy witch will be joining him for the ride. Bayonetta will also be popping up, in a tag team of action that promises remastered visuals in 4K resolution at 60fps on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

We don’t know very much about the next generation of Xbox machines. We know that Microsoft is taking a double-pronged approach with its Project Scarlett family of Xbox devices. Anaconda will be the more powerful of the two, a beastly machine that’ll make the Xbox One X seem silly by comparison, and Lockheart, a possibly discless, less powerful machine with more palatable pricing.

2K Games announced today that work is currently being done on a new BioShock, which will be done studio Cloud Chamber. The new development team happens to be split between the 2K San Francisco and Montreal offices, with Kelley Gilmore from Firaxis games being the big boss of this studio.
