The Big N is ready to kick off Gamescom 2019, and this may just be one of the strongest showings yet for Nintendo ever since they revealed their Switch handheld console. The tail end of 2019 looks like an amazing time for Switch owners, as first-party games such as the latest Pokemon and Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be balanced by a ton of new indie games.

It was just last week that Mojang announced the cancellation of its Super Duper graphics pack for Minecraft had been cancelled. According to the developer, the pack was cancelled because it “proved too technically demanding to implement as planned.” That doesn’t mean that the game won’t be getting a shiny upgrade in the near future. The last great hope for Bioware to return to pride of place in general gamer consciousness is the fourth Dragon Age game, Dragon Age: The Dread Wolf Rises. Announced officially at the end of last year, we know very little about the direction the new game is going. We do, however, know which direction the game’s lead producer is going: out the door.
