The announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare means that Infinity Ward won’t just have to deal with the pressure of living up to the benchmark of previous games, but they’ll also have to deliver on the demanding expectations of fans new and old. One way that they plan on doing this is via their brand new game engine, which …

In my third year of university I signed up to do a course entitled, “History and Appreciation of Music”. I didn’t particularly want to take the class but I had to make up a missing credit or else I wouldn’t have graduated at the end of the year. My time in the class, run by a lecturer that looked like …

The Division 2 introduces its new walking tank specialisation class, the Gunner

By Darryn Bonthuys

Normally, sticking your head out like a meerkat in The Division 2 will result in a near instantaneous death…unless you’re laying as the new Gunner specialisation that is. Joining the Sharpshooter, Demolitionist and Survivalist, the Gunner scoffs at the idea of cover (SCOFFS TO THE MAX) and instead walks into danger with a minigun that will rip foes apart.

A group of players have started staging plays in the MMO using only in-game assets and it’s really surreal in a cool kinda way As someone who spends one half of their life studying drama and the other half playing video games, I have to admit that I was super excited to find out about this little nugget of digital …

Rumour: Fable 4 details leak ahead of E3

By Geoffrey Tim

I have a soft spot for the Fable franchise. While Molyneux and Lionhead’s ambitious RPG series never quite reached the heights of its promises, the series has always delivered whimsical light RPG fare that’s fun to play. I didn’t really care too much for the industrialisation that happened in Fable 3, so I’d love for the whole thing to sort of start again, with a bit of a quasi-reboot.

Watch Dogs Legion leaks ahead of E3, will allow you to “play as anyone”

By Darryn Bonthuys

Discovered via a now defunct Amazon UK stuff-up, Watch Dogs Legion will see players take to the streets of London as was rumoured so many months ago, but with an interesting new twist on the hack ‘em up formula. This time, you’re not just controlling a single protagonist but as multiple usually non-playable characters that you recruit to your hacktivist cause.

Undead Horde Review: Say hello to my rotting friends!

By Brad Lang

I knew a necromancer once. A lovely guy, truly one of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. He had the most infectious smile and never failed to bring a room alive with his gift of raising everyone’s spirits. Very career driven too, invested in a lot of cryptocurrencies to make a living. Never was very good with …

When it comes to gaming headsets, the choices are greater than ever before. There are so many brands with differing feature sets available that it can become daunting when making the decision to buy a new set. Sometimes, you don’t need all the bells and whistles; you don’t need virtual surround sound, you don’t need HD Audio certification and you …
