Nintendo had several masterpieces on their hands thanks to a partnership with Capcom that produced the genre-defining Resident Evil 4 (released first on the Ninty system), the bonkers prequel Resident Evil 0 and an amazing remaster of the original trip to Spencer Mansion. All great games, that are coming back for a reunion on the Nintendo Switch.

I’d genuinely like to put together an article to help people up their game in Apex Legends. Naturally, I’m the wrong person to ask for advice on this, in much the same way that I’m the last person that you should ever ask for help on getting something off the top shelf. So I need some tips.

The Division 2 isn’t exactly an easy game. Sure, actual strategy, patience and knowing when to push forward are all tools for success, but nothing beats having an actual partner to watch your back when a fight gets a little too hectic and you find yourself in need of some resuscitation. While you can expect to have plenty of drop in options available whenever you tackle a mission, ensuring that you have a steady supply of rando agents to take cover behind, using your friend as a bullet-sponge is always better.

Ubisoft's stabby franchise is taking a break in 2019, and after a foray into the Egyptian and Greek past that delved deeper into the origins of the series, where Assassin’s Creed goes next is up for debate. According to one unverified leaker, the next game in the franchise will be Assassin’s Creed Legion, which swaps the Grecian shores of Odyssey for some Italian fun in the sun.

The Xbox One has been with us for more than five years, with the last big hardware development being the launch of the Xbox One X back in 2017. Whispers in the shadows are rampant about what Microsoft’s console roadmap is for the future, at a time when there are also talk of the Playstation 5 (though we may still …

The ten worst video game sequels of all time

By Darryn Bonthuys
February 22, 2019

It doesn’t take much to create a great sequel to a video game that has proven to be a hit with fans. After all, when the original game has managed to create an attractive foundation, all that’s left for developers is to build something bigger, better and bolder on top of it…right? Well, not exactly. Some times, video game sequels don’t just drop the ball, they kick it into a bottomless ravine from which there is no escape.
