After a year away from the spotlight, E3 is back and finally ready to bulldoze an entire dump-truck's worth of hype straight to your face. With just over a week to go, E3 2021 officially kicks off on Saturday with a beefy salvo from Ubisoft, and then continues through to Sunday with the likes of Microsoft, Bethesda, and Square Enix all delivering various showcases.
Just like the Easter bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Queen of England, I still refuse to believe in the existence of the Borderlands movie. It has a cast which is punching well above its weight, and if the first teaser image of Cate Blanchett as the Siren Lillith is anything to go by, this Eli Roth-directed film is going to win plenty of love from fans for at least nailing the look of its characters properly.
Publisher 2K game apparently has a bunch of games up its metaphorical sleeves to reveal at E3, and it looks like a return to Borderlands is going to be one of those reveals.
