Weekend box office report 7 - 9 June 2019: The Secret Life of Pets 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix may have opened in the respective top two spots, but both films fell way short of expectations.

After the terrible X-Men: The Last Stand, filmmaker Simon Kinberg is getting a second chance at adapting one of the most believed comic book stories ever in X-Men: Dark Phoenix. But is it better the second time around?

Undone is a half-hour, genre-bending, animated series that explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character Alma, a twenty-eight-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas. After getting into a car accident and nearly dying, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time. She develops this new ability in order to find out the truth about her father’s death.

Netflix have just released the official trailer for the third and final season of Marvel's Jessica Jones, which also marks the end of their Marvel collaboration.
