The December holidays are coming up, and if you're not in the mood for cheerful holiday fare then Netflix has you covered with two upcoming foreign-language TV series. 1983 is a Polish conspiracy thriller series set in an alternative world where the Soviet Union never collapsed, and the German action drama series Dogs of Berlin will follow two disparate police detectives trying to solve the murder of a famous footballer.
