Weekend box office report 31 August - 2 September 2018: The American Labor Day long weekend marked the official end of the US summer box office season, and what a weekend it was as Crazy Rich Asians led the way on a weekend stuffed full of historic milestones!

Following on the first teaser trailer released at San Diego Comic-Con, the first full trailer has been released for The Dragon Prince. The new animated fantasy adventure series comes from two of the main leads behind Avatar: The Last Airbender and Voltron: Legendary Defender, as well as the director of Uncharted 3, and it looks like it could be one magical adventure!

Extremity is an upcoming surreal psychological horror movie. Allison is an emotionally troubled young woman who believes that confronting her past trauma might be a mean of exercising her demons. She signs up for a trip to Perdition, an exclusive haunt that promises absolute, unadulterated terror, but the most frightening thing on display will prove to be Allison's own twisted psyche.

The first few trailers for writer/director Shane Black's The Predator were rightfully criticized for being a little reserved in showing us the type of film we should be expecting in this revival of the classic sci-fi action franchise. But now the film's final trailer is here in all it's bloody, profanity-fueled glory and it looks incredible!

It's easy to focus on the heroics of any big success story, but sometimes its worthwhile to focus on the many sacrifices that have been made along the way to get there.
