Weekend Box Office Report 6 - 8 October 2017: Despite being proclaimed a modern sci-fi masterpiece and arguably the year's best film, Blade Runner 2049 has failed to meet opening weekend predictions.

There’s plenty of terrific stuff in the new trailer for Justice League, most of which seems dedicated to what I’d imagine is the third act of the film: There’s a conveniently abandoned Eastern-European City, the Parademons of Apocalypse have turned a nuclear reactor into a nesting ground and the Justice League is united for a final stand against SteppenWolf and his hordes. Still no Superman in action, which is the smartest marketing move by Warner Bros. so far I reckon.
