One of the most popular children's movies of the 80's happened to also be an excellent sci-fi film in its own right. It may also finally be getting a reboot now that a new writer is on-board.

Amazon is looking to bolster their catalogue of TV series with three exciting new sci-fi series adapted respectively from Greg Rucka's Lazarus, Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash and Larry Niven's Ringworld.

Our two main releases this week are both rather disappointing sequels/franchise continuations. I doubt that's going to stop you though! 

It's been 7 years since Skyline, a rather terrible but admittedly very good looking sci-fi film made a huge profit at the box office. Now we have an equally good-looking sequel, but this time its led by a couple of verified badasses.

An exceptionally acted film that offers a deeply personal look at its characters whose lives were tragically transformed by the events of the Boston Marathon bombings of 2013.

Nobody can ever accuse Arnold Schwarzenegger of a lack of dedication to a cause. When he says he's coming back, he's coming back damn it! Arnie famously made the promise of his return in both 1984 sci-fi classic The Terminator as well as its timelessly awesome 1991 sequel Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
