Ed Boon, one of the creators of the violent, over-the-top fighter Mortal Kombat has been teasing the ninth game in the series quite a bit lately. The game’s been in development for what seems like a lifetime – but at least we now know it’s not vapourware. While little is known about the game so far, there’s much speculation that …
Woah! I’m having a major case of déjà vu here. Remember back in January this year, what Polyphony digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi said when asked how far long Gran Turismo 5 was? “About 90% of the game is done. We are just working on the last 10% and polishing up everything,†he told USA Today at the beginning of the …
How’s this for a weird marketing campaign, if you head on over to Twitter and follow @Crysis then send them the following message you could find your Twitter tag plasted on one of the walls in the upcoming Crysis 2. The message to send depends on your region and we are all pretending that we are in the UK so …

Remember the awesome-sauce that was Mech Warrior 4? Well, I’ve never actually played it, so I don’t but I am sure a lot of you do. Great news for fans of the series, or just gamers who want a free game. The go ahead was given for Mech Warrior 4 to be made available for precisely bugger all. You can …
John Davison over at GamePro has posted quite a enlightening article about whether or not games in this generation are getting too big and too hard? Basically whether games should start becoming easier and shorter. And no this isn’t the rambling of some bean counter over at the development companies trying to push for shorted and simpler games, this is …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
