The live-action Starship Trooper sequels are trash. They’re low budget, lack any of the subtle commentary of the original film and they’re cheaper than Chinese knock-off Nik Naks. 2012’s Starship Troopers: Invasion however? Now that’s a movie which may have lacked the commentary of the original, but made up for it by upping the action with some delightful CG animation.That was five years ago, and it’s about damn time that a sequel was made.
