Borderlands cosplay may just be the easiest costume to do when you’re on a shoestring budget. Grab a toy gun, rip your shirt off to show off your glistening dad bod and put on a paper mache mask. Congrats! You’re now officially cosplaying as a bandit from that universe. Now run around the convention and shout stuff about meat puppets …

God of War was emotional, it was splendid and you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who didn’t feel satisfied by the time the final credits rolled on an adventure that starred an older and crustier Kratos as he battled back against Norse mythology. A five year odyssey, to create not just the best God of War game, but the definitive example of how the video game industry can be create true art. Want to see how it was all done? Then watch the full-length documentary.

Machinegames’ Wolfenstein alternate history reboots have given us some of this generations finest straight up shooters. In July’s Wolfenstein: Youngblood, BJ Blazkowicz passes the torch to his twin daughters, delivering a 1980’s co-op shooter experience that’s a change of pace for the series.
