No Man’s Sky may not have been the space-knees of the space-bee when it first launched in 2016, but a few years later and Hello Games’ passion project definitely was better. Not perfect mind you, but definitely a step in the right direction for those fans who had fallen in love with the idea of exploring a wide cosmos and …

If a mini-console powered by nostalgia could work for Nintendo, then that’s an idea which could certainly work wonders for Sony and the PlayStation brand. The PlayStation Classic is that very idea, realised and given a Sony slap of paint, although of the 20 games that were announced for the system, only five of them were revealed a few months ago. That all changes today, as the holiday season draws closer and Sony looks to generate some buzz on the console and all of the goodies included. And boy oh boy, are there some absolute classic games bundled in with this device.

Over on the Nintendo Switch, you can easily grab a session of DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus while you’re on the go. Bethesda’s premiere first-person shooters may require plenty of graphical downgrades to fit on the Switch, but the fact that you can take a game of Nazi and demon-slaying with you and still have a relatively smooth experience while retaining the core gameplay of those titles, is nothing short of amazing. So what about Fallout 76 then? Surely Bethesda has plans to port over the benchmark in post-apocalyptic action to the Switch…right? Yeah, that ain’t happening.
