By running the Operating system on effectively the same hardware that’s found in many smartphones, Windows 10 can utilise the battery-saving efficiency of the platform, allowing for laptops that can last an entire day or two on a single charge. They may be a little more limited than first thought though.

Kevin Gammill, program manager for Microsoft's Xbox Platform Partner Group has teased on Twitter that 1440p support will be coming soon. He said that those on the higher tiers of the Xbox Insider Program will soon be "pleasantly surprised," which indicates that 1440p support is imminent.
